Apply for a Workshop Grant!
Are you gearing up to do some art in the winter months? Maybe you want to share your artistic talents with others?
Our Workshop Grants are easy to complete. They supplement workshop fees and bring quality, affordable workshops to adult learners in our region.
Region 2 residents who want to coordinate or present arts workshops are invited to apply.
Proposals are considered in the order in which they are received. Funds are available until they run out.

Minnesota State Arts Board Announces Fiscal Year 2016 Grant Calendar. All application deadlines for fiscal year 2016 Arts Board grants are available on the calendar page of the Arts Board Web site. Please note the changes for the following programs: - Arts Learning: Application deadline (February 13, 2015) is two months earlier than last year.
- Arts Access: Application deadline (April 24, 2015) is two months earlier than last year.
- Artist Initiative: Performing and literary arts have the same deadline; for performing arts, this is one month earlier than last year. June 12, 2015.
- Folk and Traditional Arts: Application deadline (June 26, 2015) is six weeks later than last year.
- Cultural Community Partnership: Application deadline (August 28) is four weeks later than last year.

Congratulations, Watermark!
Lori Forshee-Donnay, Watermark Art Center's Executive Director, announced this week that the Watermark Art Center was awarded a $150,000 grant from the George A. Neilson Foundation to help with the renovations of the "Lakeside Lueken's Building," Watermark's future home at 505 Bemidji Avenue in Bemidji. Forshee-Donnay expressed gratitude to the Neilson Foundation for the generous support and endorsement
of the project.
