SHARING OUR STORY

Want to know more about what our regional agency means for you? We'd love to come speak to your group. We're out in the community several times a month sharing the CFX story.

Email Alayna Curry or call her directly at (407) 690-5345 to set up a presentation!

In the last month, CFX presented to the Cities of Umatilla and Apopka, the Retired Dentists Eating Organization, the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club and the Kissimmee Bay Rotary Club (pictured above).

IN THE COMMUNITY

Stop by and see us on October 24-25 at the Mount Dora Craft Fair in the city's historic downtown. We'll be there talking about what's new with the Wekiva Parkway!

On Sunday, October 25 we'll also be at Festival Calle Orange in Downtown Orlando. Mention this newsletter article in person and get a free t-shirt (while supplies last).

REGIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL BUS REBATES

At our October meeting, the Board voted to approve a rebate program for public school buses in Orange, Seminole, Lake, Osceola, Volusia, Brevard and Polk Counties. Schools in these districts will receive a 99% rebate on tolls on our expressway system starting in February.

PARTNER UPDATE:
I-4 ULTIMATE

Nighttime closures on Church Street under
I-4 will continue periodically until November 6. These closures, from Hughey Avenue to Garland Avenue, are necessary for bridge construction.

Access for pedestrians will be closed during these times as well. Pedestrians can use crosswalks under I-4 at Pine Street or South Street. Click here for more information.

A toll is NOT a tax. It's a user fee. Toll roads are funded by those who choose to use them, while non-toll roads are funded by everyone through gas taxes. For more tolling truths, like us on Facebook
YOUR TOLL DOLLARS AT WORK

Last month, more than 150 community members came to the Wekiva Parkway pre-construction open house in Apopka. The CFX team answered questions about the project's progress and impact to the area.

Concrete piles are being driven by construction crews in Apopka for future bridges from the 429 Connector Road to Southfork Drive.

FACES OF CFX

Evelyn works as an
E-PASS customer service representative. If you need assistance with your account, please call
(407) 823-7277.

How long have you been with the E-PASS team?
I've been with the team for 10 years. I started as a toll collector, transferred to the images department and now I'm in customer service helping drivers resolve missed tolls.

What's the most common customer issue you deal with at the call center?
I receive a lot of calls from cash drivers who didn't realize that they drove through the E-PASS only lanes. If you're paying with cash, make sure to stay to the right while driving through the toll plazas to avoid any unpaid toll notifications.

Remember: E-PASS costs an average of 23% less than paying with cash!
E-PASS FOR OSCEOLA COUNTY

We currently collect the tolls on Osceola Parkway. Beginning in spring 2016, we will also collect the tolls on the Osceola County Expressway Authority's Poinciana Parkway. This new road will feature All Electronic Tolling (AET), so there will not be any cash plazas.

E-PASS can help you save money on tolls and our mini sticker is free for Osceola County residents (in addition to Orange, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard and Polk). Get yours at www.CFXsolution.com.
