Maureen Smith works in the mail room sorting letters, posting checks and responding to written customer inquiries.
|
How long have you been working with us?
14 years. I am a native from Jamaica and came to the U.S. in 2000. My first position was a customer service representative at our service center on West Colonial Drive. I also worked in new accounts before working in the mail room.
What's your favorite part of your job?
I help out multiple departments and enjoy helping E-PASS customers. In 2002, I won the Employee of the Year Award for customer service!
What advice would you give customers about their E-PASS accounts?
Make sure that your account is always current with the most up-to-date information. When you move, get a new license plate or a new credit card, update your account so you can avoid any errors.

The Central Florida Expressway Authority turns one this month! A lot has happened over the last year. We have a 9-member board, an executive director and a new commuter relief discount program kicking off in July. We're also excited to have started construction on our first section of the Wekiva Parkway!

YOUR TOLL DOLLARS AT WORK
SR 429/Schofield Rd. Interchange
In May, CFX Chairman Welton Cadwell and Vice Chairman Scott Boyd led a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the new 429/Schofield Rd. Interchange in west Orange County.
Congressman Daniel Webster, after whom 429 is named, was also there to celebrate the project. Click here to read more about the interchange.

Thanks to the Central Florida Partnership, last month we hosted Leadership Orlando Class 89 at our headquarters for the group's transportation day. In addition to hearing a presentation about the agency, the class took an exclusive tour of the E-PASS call center and the 408/Conway toll plaza.
