Project Update:
SR 417 Widening Between Curry Ford & Lake Underhill
We're almost done widening 417 from 4 to 6 lanes between Curry Ford and Lake Underhill! This project began in March 2014 and is expected to be complete this spring. These added lanes will help manage traffic, especially during peak hours.

CFX COMMUTER RELIEF
As I-4 prepares to go under construction for the next 6 years, we're excited to share some new benefits for drivers who choose the CFX system as an alternative.
BELTWAY DISCOUNT
Starting on July 1, 2015, drivers who pay 20 or more tolls per month on CFX's portions of the beltway (417, 429 and 414) will receive a 5% discount on those transactions.
OPENING BALANCE
Beginning April 1, 2015, we are lowering the balance you must have in pre-paid tolls to open a new E-PASS account from $25 to $15. Each additional transponder added to that account is now $10.
FREE TRANSPONDERS
E-PASS Mini Stickers are FREE for residents in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia counties. You can sign up to receive the sticker online, at one of our service centers or by phone at (407) 823-7277.
VOLUME DISCOUNT
In addition to the new beltway discount, we will continue to offer monthly volume discounts on our entire system. Check your statement to see these savings:
- 40-79 transactions = 5% discount
- 80+ transactions = 10% discount

Congressman Daniel Webster attended our board meeting this month to announce that CFX will be receiving a federal TIFIA (Transportation Infrastructure Finance & Innovation Act) loan.
This $193 million loan will help us save $260 million and speed up the construction of our sections of the Wekiva Parkway. Total completion for the CFX sections is now set for 2018.

CFX and Orlando City Soccer teamed up to reduce congestion during the Lions' inaugural game on March 8. Orlando City covered the cost of tolls for one hour after the event so fans could use the 408 Orange Blossom Trail entrance ramp for free.

Does my account get charged if another driver tails my car?
No, the E-PASS system uses precise electronic equipment to separate each vehicle and charge the appropriate toll. However, you should always review your statement each month. Feel free to contact our service center at (407) 690-7277 if you have questions.

Did you know that you can test your E-PASS transponder at our Goldenrod Service Center? If you think your battery may be dead on your older, plastic transponder or just want to test the sticker for fun, drive through our test gantry on the side of the building. No charge!
|

You may have noticed added Service Patrol trucks driving through the I-4 Ultimate project area - from west of Kirkman to east of 434.
Similar to CFX's Road Rangers, these patrols offer services such as: providing fuel, assisting with tire changes and other minor emergency repairs. If you need assistance while driving through the I-4 Ultimate construction zone, the service patrol is just a phone call away at *FHP (*347).
