New Banner Design!

"The Lion of Judah over Jerusalem"

"Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations." Isaiah 62:10 (NIV)

A word was given to Pastor Ben F. Gray of Australia in 2005: "Opening the ancient doors and rebuilding the highway of righteousness from Gibraltar to Jerusalem." This route is considered the western section of the Isaiah 19 highway prophecy. "The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance." Isaiah 19:25 (NIV)

The banner depicts an open highway between Gibraltar and Jerusalem, crossing the five North African nations - Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and ending in Jerusalem, Israel.

The design conveys the Mediterranean as the centrepiece, signifying that it's like the womb of the world, with end-time scenarios, religious and nationalistic struggles being birthed from this region.

Happy New Year!

As we come to the beginning of the Roman calendar year 2014 it's a great time to reflect on whether our walk and our ministry are further advanced now than they were 12 months ago. We can consider what we would like to achieve in the next 12 months and set realistic goals and steps to achieve them.

2013 has been an amazing year for me. The biggest highlight was being declared cancer-free in September after grappling with bladder cancer for 15 months.

This has also been the year where we have begun to see support come in for my role as missionary to the nations - that is an incredibly freeing development.

Other highlights of the year have been the conference in Toulon and the leaders day that followed it, running with 100 men in a stadium event in Costa Rica and moving into new teaching in how "Free People, Free People" in Switzerland and the US. There was a fantastic conference in St. Maurice, Switzerland where we worked on cleaning out a 1500-year-old well of worship and a powerful workshop in Darwin.

This year has also seen a dramatic increase in my involvement and joy in working with Aglow International Australia with conferences, retreats and summits in almost every state in Australia and in Papua, New Guinea.

I have also delighted in the writing of another book. It is a parable about people living in boxes and playfully explores where these boxes came from and why it is so tempting to just accept them, renovate them or redecorate them, rather than getting free of them.

I have just returned from wonderful time in New Zealand where we experienced a powerful workshop in Hamilton. While there I was able to explore some of magnificent countryside of New Zealand with my children, Elizabeth and Daniel, including a visit to Middle Earth.

Next year is already looking very, very exciting with several national conferences for Aglow, a huge worship celebration in St. Maurice, Switzerland and my first ever Irreligious Tour of Israel, leading people chronologically through the layers of history of the Holy Land.

There are still several opportunities for me to come and minister in your nation in 2014. Please contact us if you are interested and join us if you can.

In this newsletter we have a story from Glenda in Australia about her growing confidence in using banners and also a wonderful video from my friend Julia in France, of African rhythm and movement with banners.

For those of you who would like to help us expand the effective use banners into more nations we have included the link to how you can become a regular supporter of Out of Our Minds Banners. You can also found out more about the Israel trip happening in September. The tour is limited and positions are filling fast, so please register your interest soon!

In order to help you start your year off right, for first time ever we are offering a free pole with every banner purchased in the month of January. Just order the banners you need and we will include the free pole.

I extend best wishes from the OOOMB team here in Australia and throughout the world. May you effectively plan to walk in your destiny during the coming year. I hope to be able to see you personally soon.

Thank you for continuing to journey with us throughout the year!

Changing the atmosphere with banners
by Glenda Robinson
Australia

I purchased four worship banners about five to seven years ago. The banners are Freedom, The Blood, The River and The Eagle Soaring (Light Blue). I used them in a healing ministry where I led worship using CD's on a few occasions.

During those times I used the banners to dance and I used them during intercession. At those times over five years ago by the end of the worship most of the people were up and dancing to the worship, the Holy Spirit really came and breakthrough in healing came.

After seven years I left that healing ministry. I did not use my worship banners in my regular church as conditions were very cramped and I could not use them for that reason. I must confess I stopped using them at home then and left them in their banner stand unused and untouched for about two or three years.

In 2010 I joined the Healing Rooms team at my local church.I asked and was granted permission to use my worship banners there in 2011. I have been using the first four banners I bought at Healing Rooms during worship dancing with them and wielding them during intercession since then. I find they help me to move into God's presence and this helps my gift to see whatever God wants me to see. Others use them too at Healing Rooms.

Then I went on a Global Awakening Ministry Trip to New Zealand and met Steve Stanfield, David's brother. Steve told me there was a new banner on God's Covenant Love. I ordered it and it arrived really quickly.

Covenant Love
I was then asked to lead a service at a small church of about 20 people with two other ladies. Our theme was Papa God's Love. I displayed the Covenant Love worship banner on the pulpit and explained the banner. I then led the worship using  CD's and danced with one other lady using the Freedom, The Blood and The Soaring banners.

I interceded during the worship using the banners at the same time. The two other ladies and I gave our testimonies of being healed through God's love.

The result at the end of the service was that four different men all came up to me and congratulated me telling me the service was fabulous. One of the men stated that the whole atmosphere of the church changed as a result of the service. Another man took photos of the service. The Pastor of the church was delighted with all the good reports he got about it.

I am grateful for the worship banners and encouragement!

Video Spotlight

Dance with banners in Gabon
Julia Payan, France

My husband Claude and I were invited to Libreville Gabon in December 2012 for a one week seminar on Christian artistic expressions. I was holding a banner and movement workshop every afternoon.

In the evenings there were big outdoor meetings where Claude was preaching. It was a great experience!

This video shows the dance with African steps and rhythms with banners that my workshop created for the last evening meeting. The song is  about the "making way for Jesus the Messiah. "

You cannot see it very well but it started to rain by the end of the dance!
