THE TIMES OF OUR LIVES ASTROLOGICAL ACTIVITY AFFECTING ALL OF US We are once again coming to the end of a year. Today, December 21, 2014, is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. After today, the days get longer. Today the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn. The infamous Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn square completes the sixth of seven exact alignments over the last two years, this month. The theme is radical transformation and personal evolution. Everyone I know has had difficult personal changes in the last 2 years. The last of these squares ends March 2015. By Spring we will be able to see a glimpse of a new and better "normal". Saturn brings in another change affecting everyone. After being in Scorpio for 2.5 years, Saturn moves into Sagittarius on December 23rd until June 16, 2015. Then it retrogrades back to Scorpio and moves into Sagittarius again in September 2015 where it remains until December 20 2017. Sagittarius is easier than Scorpio. It's ruler is the beneficial planet Jupiter. Jupiter's concerns are money, education, religion,foreign affairs, governments, higher laws, scandals, travel, philosophy, publishing, higher teachings, consciousness expansion and truth seeking. Saturn in Sagittarius works best for Leo, Aquarius, Aries, Libra, and can be more challenging for Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, and Gemini or anyone with mutable personal planets. MIND OVER THE COMMON COLD
In the last 2 months, I had two colds. Very surprising because I never get sick. I planned on treating myself physically with natural remedies mentioned below, also using meditation, hypnosis and positive affirmations.
Something as mundane as a cold appears when your mind is overwhelmed or confused, said my father.
My unconscious mind believed him. When I figured this out - I decided if the mind can cause a cold - the mind can heal a cold as well and other diseases, as well. I remembered as a teenager I had a bad cold. I was invited to a party I really wanted to attend. I had such a great time, I left the party feeling happy and well. Ten years ago, after returning from Morocco. I was horribly sick. Went to see a healer by the name of Karmu. He was a triple Leo, the son of a Ethiopian Rabbi and a Chinese Healer. Who could make this up? I visited with Karmu and his friends in Cambridge. We drank home brewed booze, made from vodka, raisons and dried fruits. We had a great time, talking and drinking. I left this haven of healing, after a couple of hours, with no signs of a cold. This time, I watched my last cold get better when I was doing and thinking about what I liked. When I complained about the cold and did things I did not like - the cold seemed to get worse. Interesting reaction.
