We've had a few nice-weather days and Minnesotans are getting anxious for Spring! It's always great to get that burst of energy that sunshine and warm temps give us after a long Winter. It can be so motivating. Margie and I are going to get a real taste of Spring when we travel to High Point Market in North Carolina next month. The flowers should be blooming there! Right now we're gearing up by making plans for which showrooms we want to see. Both of us are excited to discover new products, so we can be even better equipped to advise people on great design. If there's something you're looking for (furniture, a mirror, artwork, etc) let us know so we can be on the lookout. We're looking forward to having some fun there too! In this issue, find a Family Room Makeover - the homeowners and I both found joy when we located the perfect piece of art for the room, and put the other finishing touches in place to create a relaxing gathering place for their family. Also below, find tips to create good Feng Shui in your bedroom - the most important room in the house for relaxation. Make sure yours is rejuvenating. Have you gotten the urge to declutter or create something new for your space? If so, you're not alone. This is the time of year that people want to get started on home design projects, and appointments start to fill up! Now is the time to kick things off with your Initial Consultation. Before, this family room had a lot of "little things" distracting the eye, and it needed to be freshened up.
The excess of wood and ceiling beams were also hindering the room's Feng Shui.

Many times the bedroom is a room that's either overlooked or last on the list. The public spaces in the house get more attention because they're what everyone else sees. But your bedroom needs the attention first because it's where you nourish and care for yourself. Especially if you're overwhelmed with design projects throughout the house, and not sure where to start - start here: - Declutter
- Love the color
- Make sure there's privacy
- Get comfy
- Feel luxurious

"Anyone can go out to buy a couch or chair for their home. It is true. But what I found is that by working with an Interior Designer the caliber of Julie Ann, a whole new world of 'possibilities' opens up."
