Fall Lecture Series: "Careers & Cases in Vet Medicine" 

K-State Olathe and the College of Veterinary Medicine have 
teamed up once again to host the "Careers & Cases in Veterinary
Medicine," lecture series. This is an opportunity for high school
students and community members to learn about careers and
research in veterinary medicine. There is no cost to attend.
Collaboration Advances Strawberry Research

What if there were a better way to grow strawberries in Kansas?
Kelly Gude, graduate student in horticulture with an emphasis in urban food systems, is working on research that could make this a reality. Most varieties grown in Kansas are planted in the fall and harvested for a mere five weeks in the spring. Gude is studying six varieties of day-neutral strawberries, which can be planted in the spring and harvested for a period of five months.
Xi'an University Summer Institute

Kansas State University Olathe conducted a summer institute for 19 faculty members from Xi'an Medical University. The three-week institute, which concluded with a graduation exercise on Thursday, Aug. 6, focused on professional development and cultural immersion.

K-State Olathe Expands Scholarship Program 

K-State Olathe is proud to offer scholarships for students studying on the Olathe campus for academic year 2015-2016. Eligible students can receive scholarship support for up to 50 percent of their tuition. Read more...
