Lot/Land Purchase Agreement -- revisions went live on zipForm on October 1st. The following paragraphs were updated so the language corresponds to the language in the RVAR Purchase Agreement: Property Owners Association, Deposit, Loan Application, Default, Brokerage Fee and Title Provisions. Plus the Soil Study and Access to Property paragraphs have been revised.
RVAR to cease printing standard forms. RVAR's Board of Directors has decided to stop printing RVAR's standard forms for resale. Forms revisions occur regularly, due to legal issues, state mandates and/or member requests. This decision will allow RVAR to provide members with the most up to date standard forms. (RVAR will continue to sell standard forms until our current supply is depleted.)

2014 RPAC Campaign Breaks Records
RVAR's 2014 RPAC Campaign raised the most money ever -- $42,537 -- from the largest percentage of our membership ever -- 35%. Thank you to the 382 REALTORS®, Affiliates and RVAR Staff who contributed to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) this year. Led by Donna Greer of Long & Foster, REALTORS® and Henry Scholz of MKB, REALTORS®, RVAR's fundraising campaign exceeded the goals set for us by VAR. (The 2014 campaign officially ended on September 30th.) For every dollar donated to RPAC, 40 cents goes to RVAR, 30 cents to VAR and 30 cents to NAR, all set aside to be used for political and legislative efforts in support of REALTOR® issues (e.g., preserving the mortgage interest deduction, flood insurance, Virginia's new first-time homeowners savings plan etc.). Thanks especially to those who generously gave more than their fair share. The 2015 RPAC campaign is already underway. Please give your fair share -- just $30 -- when you pay your dues. OR donate online anytime!
