Creating value for Nebraska's career education system

Greetings!

Happy Holidays to you!   The Partnerships for Innovation has enjoyed traveling the state this year, learning more about programs and opportunities that strengthen our regional and state economic and workforce development through career education efforts.

This month's newsletter highlights the partnership between the Nebraska departments of Labor, Education and Economic Development in the Pathways to Prosperity: NE Learn Workshops. We've had great attendance and participation at our initial workshops and hope you can make it to our final workshops in Norfolk, Lincoln or Omaha.

In the Innovation Corner section of the newsletter you'll find some interesting articles and videos related to career education in our country and state. Please take a few minutes to peruse those, we think you'll enjoy them.

Lastly, if there is anything PFI can do to support your local or regional career education needs, please do not hesitate to contact Erika. May you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday season and we'll see you again in January, 2013!

About Us

Partnerships for Innovation (PFI)  is a collaboration of Nebraska secondary and postsecondary partners focused on building a better statewide system of Career and Technical Education to improve student learning and better meet economic development priorities. PFI will do this by introducing innovation in CTE delivery systems to include Career Academies, professional development and programs of study with coordinated curriculum between secondary and postsecondary.

If you would like assistance on implementing these initiatives in your community, please contact us.

Sincerely,
