The Public Art Discussion Series is an opportunity to discuss critical topics in public art and network with artists and field experts, and open to New England artists with all levels of public art
experience.
The Public Art Discussion Series is funded by Fund for the Arts, a public art program of NEFA.

ANNOUNCING THE FUND FOR THE ARTS GRANT DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 21, 2013

 

Fund for the Arts supports public art projects in which professional artists create new, site-specific, contemporary artwork in collaboration with community-based nonprofit organizations in the Greater Boston area. The application will be available on NEFA's Fund for the Arts page in early January 2013. In the meantime, check out the site for eligibility, guidelines and application instructions.

PUBLIC ART GRANT WORKSHOP

NEFA and The Boston Art Commission want to help you get your public art project off the ground. Join us for a public art grants workshop at NEFA on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 pm. The workshop will:

 

OUR TOWN GRANT DEADLINE APPROACHING

NEA color logo Jan 2011The National Endowment for the Arts' 2013 Our Town grant deadline is quickly approaching - January 14, 2013. 

  

Organizations may apply for creative placemaking projects that contribute to the livability of communities and place the arts at their core.

 

Seven New England organizations received 2012 Our Town grants - totaling $375,000 grant dollars for the New England region! Three recipients included public art installations as part of their community revitalization plans - Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA; City of Fitchburg, MA; and Town of Brattleboro, VT.

LAST CHANCE CALLS TO ARTISTS
