Be a Part of History at Old World Wisconsin - Job Fair Being Held for the 2016 Season

Eagle, Wis.-Old World Wisconsin is seeking talented individuals to join their team and bring Wisconsin history alive for the 2016 operating season. The employment and volunteer open house will be held on Saturday, February 27 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Clausing Barn inside the main entrance.
 
"We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to share Wisconsin's pioneer history with guests," said Dan Freas, director of Old World Wisconsin. "There are opportunities for all talents including; costumed educator/demonstrators, tram drivers, day camp counselors, museum store and restaurant workers, ticket sales and maintenance staff. "
  
In addition to employment opportunities, volunteers are needed to greet guests, garden heirloom plants, sew historic costumes, play historic base ball and help in the office.  Most roles are seasonal, primarily May through October, and training for most positions begins in April.

Overview of Old World Wisconsin
Old World Wisconsin is located on Highway 67 just south of Eagle, Wisconsin in the Milwaukee/Chicago/Madison triangle. The 600-acre history attraction features interactive environments and immersive stories of 19th- and early 20th-century Midwestern immigrant farm and rural life. During the operating season May through October the museum offers hands-on activities, led by period-clad staff members, as they visit 10 working farmsteads, explore 12 heirloom gardens, meet heritage animal breeds, and try historic crafts and skills.
