CEO and Chairman Don Kendall has appointed Jeff Somple president of all of Mack Molding. In his new role, Somple is responsible for Mack Molding's northern and southern divisions, including five manufacturing facilities in Vermont, North Carolina and South Carolina; Mack Prototype, a prototyping and low-volume manufacturing facility in Massachusetts; and Synectic, an engineering services group in Connecticut. Kendall will remain CEO and chairman of Mack Group, which includes Mack Molding and Mack Technologies...

MackMedical/Mack Molding is investing $2 million to expand its cleanroom molding and assembly capacity to handle significant growth in the medical consumables market. "It's a critical step that will open up a whole new market sector for us," says President Jeff Somple.

Mack South Upgrades Class A Paint Line

 

Mack's Southern Division has made significant investments in its automated paint line at the Inman, S.C., plant. "These expenditures have vastly improved paint delivery to the line, paint application, and part drying and conveyance," says President Bryan Campbell. See for yourself...

Mack Molding's Southern Division has been chosen as one of four recipients of the 2015 South Carolina Manufacturing Excellence Awards. "I am very proud of all of our employees, and am especially pleased that we're sharing the winners' circle with such distinguished South Carolina companies as BorgWarner, Cox Industries, and Honda," says President Bryan Campbell.

RJG, Inc., the recognized leader in injection molding training, has awarded Mack's Statesville, N.C., facility for embracing scientific molding strategies and applying them within the organization. "Applying the knowledge is really at the heart of this award," says Plant Manager Joe Carinci.
