Tools & Strategies that Help Families Cope with Loss
Please join us for an eight-week Parenting While Grieving Child Loss series for adults.
This educational series is designed to help support parents/guardians who are grieving the death of a child and who are raising children (ages 3 to 18) who are grieving a sibling.
The series begins on Tuesday, January 19th, and will meet every other week from 7 to 8:30 pm. The first meeting will start at 6:30 pm. Our last meeting will be on April 26th.

 Finding Courage & Discovering Connections Through Our Teen Program | |
Our Teen Program ascended to new heights this December! TCR teens had an amazing time climbing rock walls, connecting with each other, and learning the true meaning of support at our event.
"The teens showed incredible courage as they risked sharing about their experiences, trying new challenges, and working as a team, even though many were meeting others for the first time, said TCR's Youth & Community Outreach Coordinator Christine Lambright. "They were remarkably accepting of each other's differences and skill levels, and they cheered each other on and gave unending support."

Join Us for a TCR Young Alumni Event

Join us for a wine & cheese gathering!
JOIN US on Friday, January 29, 2016, from 7 to 10 pm, for a very special wine and cheese gathering exclusively for our young adult alumni!
TCR alums (21 or older) will gather together at the big yellow house in Arlington in order to revisit a familiar community, socialize with one another, and discuss creative ways to stay involved with TCR.
It promises to be a fun night, so PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! Be sure to share this information with any 21+ TCR alums who you think might want to attend. Follow our Facebook event page for updates and to stay in touch.

Our Next Volunteer Facilitator Training Begins January 8, 2016

At TCR, we pride ourselves on having well-trained, caring, dedicated volunteers to help facilitate our peer support groups. This begins with our Volunteer Facilitator Training, a 33-hour training program required of everyone considering becoming a volunteer. We look forward to seeing you in January!
