Authentic Engagement at Ucluelet Secondary School
Students connect with local Nations elders
The Nuu-chah-nulth studies class at Ucluelet Secondary School invited local First Nations elders into the classroom to reinforce past practices of traditional teachings. Elders passed on traditional knowledge to youth through hands-on work with cedar, and the students were meaningfully engaged in their learning. Click here to read their story!
