The Australian Business Defence Industry is looking to run a Defence Bid Management Workshop event in Brisbane on 08 July 2015 at the ABSG office, Lvl 2 / 10 Felix Street, Brisbane. Details are on the ABDI websiteIt is a whole day workshop run by Anthony Rowley of Mainline Solutions. The workshops will provide practical advice on how to create a clear, complete, compelling and competitive bid.  Workshop exercises will give participants tools that can be used for future planning and preparation. Whilst it has a defence flavour, the principles will apply to other industry sectors. Please contact Kellon for further information.

Improvements to Oxley Highway and Pacific Highway intersection
Member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams has announced that Roads and Maritime Services will complete improvement work at the roundabout of the Oxley Highway and Pacific Highway to improve traffic flow.
"Line marking adjustments will be made at the roundabout in the week starting this Saturday 23 May to ease traffic congestion in the area. Read on

Give Me 5 for Kids is just around the corner 
During the month of June 2MC FM and Southern Cross Ten will again be raising money for the children's wards of all our local hospitals on the Mid North Coast.
Each year we are amazed at how generous the Mid North Coast is for this great fundraising event and I'm sure this year will be no different. Help us help our local Hospitals. 
If you'd like to be involved through either having one of Give Me 5 for Kids tins at your business or run another event to raise money please contact on 6583 8088 or 6551 3009.
