New NSW Government Service Centre - One Stop Shop

Acting Premier Andrew Stoner and Member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams formally opened the new Service NSW Centre at Port Macquarie this week. The service centre is the first on the Mid North Coast. Service NSW is helping transform the way people do business with the Government. Local people are now able to carry out more than 850 NSW Government transactions - such as driver licences, vehicle registration, fishing licences, birth certificates or contractor licences - either over the counter, through the website or via the 24/7 phone service.  The centre is open for extended hours during the weekdays and also on Saturdays - an option I know has been welcomed by residents and in particular small businesses.  Read more
