Haven't things been busy! The business calendar is jam packed with some exciting events, there are thousands of "feet on the streets" bringing a buzz to the CBD in anticipation of all the Ironman activity.., even the birds have made some noise around the CBD these last couple of days! It just goes to show what a vibrant and active community we are! Best of luck to anyone competing this weekend!

2013 ClubGrants Application Closing Date Extended to 7 May !
The Port Macquarie-Hastings Local ClubGRANTS Committee has  announced an extension to the closing date for 2103 grant applications to 7 May 2013.  "It is important to maximise the opportunity for community groups and welfare organisations to submit their applications for funding through the ClubGRANTS scheme, hence the extension by an extra week", Jenny Edmunds, Chair of the Committee, explained.  Read more

Lake Innes Management Investigation Project -Exhibition of Draft Environmental Assessment

Investigations and assessments of the Lake have been prepared and a Draft Environmental Assessment will be placed on public exhibition from the 22nd April 2013 until the 21st May 2013. 

The Environment Assessment can be viewed electronically on the NRCMA's web site.   You are invited to review and share your comments via the NRCMA's Feedback Sheet or  respond to us via email and we can use comments to pull together a response from Chamber - as a voice for the business community we would love to receive your feedback!

The draft 2013-2017 Delivery Program and draft 2013-14 Operational Plan

You have the opportunity to have a close look at Council's plans and vision for the short to medium term with the draft 2013-2017 Delivery Program and draft 2013-14 Operational Plan now on public exhibition. 

-The Delivery Program highlights the objectives that the Councillors have committed to undertaking in their four year term.  

-The Operational Plan describes the specific actions of the Council over the next financial year to meet those overall objectives. The Operational Plan is divided into the five focus areas of Council and includes financial summaries and works programs for each area. Review here
