The Choir of St. John's will sing a service of Choral Evensong on Sunday, October 18, at 5:00 p.m., which is also the feast of St. Luke. Among the music to be sung at this service will be the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis of Charles Wood in E flat, together with Sir William Harris' great anthem, with a text particularly appropriate for St. Luke the physician, 'Strengthen ye the weak hands.' Do please join us for Evensong, which will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
