Parish News
Children's Service This Sunday
Join us in the Parish Hall this Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for a special service for young children and their families!
Serving the Right People, in the Right Places, for the Right Reasons, at the Right Time
To be the person we are called to be; it is important to discover our spiritual gifts, personal style and God-given passion for serving in the body of Christ.  We need to know our gifts and passions to serve the right people, in the right places, for the right reasons and at the right time.  If you are interested in finding your niche for serving others at St. John's and through other organizations, this series is for you!

We have different seasons of service in our lives.  Have you lived out your current season and are feeling burned out and frustrated? Do you need to find a different avenue for serving God's people?  Knowing your gifts, passion, availability and reason for serving enriches your life and the lives of those you touch.

We will explore the aspects of serving through our gifts, personality and passions.  Classes will be held in on Sundays, October 4, 11, and 25 in the Lowry Room at 4:00 p.m.  The charge for the class is $10 for the book we will use.  Please contact Mother Alice at asadler@stjohnstampa.org or 397.1005 to register for the class.
