The main duties are recruiting volunteer host families/parishioners and helping assemble sandwiches and bag lunches on the third Sunday of the month. We have host families already scheduled through December 2015, but are looking for someone to take the reins now in preparation for next year. However, the group will not meet next Thursday, September 10.

Last week, CWBS began a study of Acts using the Interpretation Bible Studies series text and continues that series through the early fall. The group meets on Tuesdays from 6:45 to 8:00 a.m. in the Peterson Room at the Middle Division campus. After conversation and a light breakfast (fruit & some type of bread) that members take turns bringing, the study starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends shortly before 8:00 a.m.; a few people may leave early if they have to go to work.

All women of St John's and their friends are welcome; the group includes several valued members from other branches of Christ's church.  They would love to have you join them.  For more information, please contact Kathleen Moore at 221.6253 or kathleenmarymoore@gmail.com

On Tuesday, September 8, the Women's Mid Morning Bible Study will embark on a study of the Letter to the Ephesians, using the book, Paul, the Prison Letters by N. T. Wright, as our study guide and Chaplain Miranda Harrison-Quillin as our leader.  We feel very blessed that our session leaders this fall will include each of our St. John's clergy, as well as inspiring lay women and a retired Episcopal priest who attends St. John's when he is in Tampa.  We invite all women of the parish and interested friends and neighbors to join us at 10:15 - 11:30 a.m. in the Lowry Room on alternate Tuesdays, September 8 - December 1.

=======================================
"DO YOU BELIEVE?"
[In this movie we find] A dozen different souls-all moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each are about to discover there is power in the Cross of Christ ... even if they don't yet believe it. When a local pastor is shaken to the core by the visible faith of an old street-corner preacher, he is reminded that true belief always requires action. His response ignites a faith-fueled journey that powerfully impacts everyone it touches in ways that only God could orchestrate. This stirring new film from the creators of God's Not Dead arrives in theaters Spring of 2015. More than a movie, it's a question we all must answer in our lifetimes: DO YOU BELIEVE?
