Sunday's Scripture Snippet

Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is now the moment for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we became believers; the night is far gone, the day is near. Let us then lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Stewardship Corner
We are very excited about the direction God is calling us in the year to come!  Working together, we will accomplish great things for the Lord. We are pleased to share that by Pledge Sunday, your entire Vestry and all parishioner staff members pledged their commitment to St. John's. We had a total of 229 pledges after Pledge Sunday, as compared to 155 at that time last year. We want everyone to have the opportunity to prayerfully participate in the life of this community as God enables them.

If you have not yet made your 2014 St. John's pledge, did you know that you can make it online? Save time and hassle by pledging today from the "Stewardship" tab on the St John's home page or by clicking here.

We look forward to completing this campaign as we:

proclaim, by word and example, the Good News of God in Christ, and build a spiritual community forming Christians of all ages through worship, education, and outreach.

Thank you for your role in living this mission together!
