We want to provide support in your time of need!
Current health regulations prohibit the members of our clergy from being informed when our parishioners are in the hospital, and unfortunately, one of the gifts of ordination is not mind-reading... However, we want to provide support for you and your loved ones in any time of need or crisis. Please call the parish offices at 259.1570 or email
parish@stjohnstampa.org to let us know when you need us!

Sunday's Scripture Snippet
For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: Anyone unwilling to work should not eat. For we hear that some of you are living in idleness, mere busybodies, not doing any work. Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. Brothers and sisters, do not be weary in doing what is right.

On Sunday the 24th, the cards will be collected, presented at the altar, and blessed. The Stewardship Committee will only call or send follow up letters to those whose pledges are outstanding after Pledge Sunday.

Many new memories were made at the annual FATHERS camping trip on November 8 and 9. A number of new young dads and children attended for the first time, and one of our older attendees was honored. Mia Carastro received the first ever FATHERS Lantern, for attending the event as a high school senior. Mia and her dad love this trip and wanted to camp out one more time together before she goes on to the next phase of her life. What a great tradition! Visit our Facebook page for more pictures.
