We want to provide support in your time of need!
Current health regulations prohibit the members of our clergy from being informed when our parishioners are in the hospital, and unfortunately, one of the gifts of ordination is not mind-reading... However, we want to provide support for you and your loved ones in any time of need or crisis. Please call the parish offices at 259.1570 or email
parish@stjohnstampa.org to let us know when you need us!

The Faithful of Faith Cafe
Thank you to all our volunteers who have been serving the homeless and needy at the new Faith Café on the last two or three Fridays each month. Pictured here are David Wheaton, and Ginger Price, Miriam Faircloth, David Wheaton, Sam and Mary Schivel, Tammy Pines and Chris Polselli.
Won't you help too?
We have a great need for people who are willing to be drivers to pick up the food at Metropolitan Ministries, then deliver it to the new Faith Café. The time commitment need not be great --as little as an hour (if you just drop off food), or maximum three (if you stay to serve) on Friday morning between 10:30-1:00. If you can volunteer one Friday a month, it would be a big help. Drivers need an SUV or truck, or know someone who would be willing to let you use one for that short period. We'd also like to encourage a few people to volunteer to be the "Coordinator for the Day." The group has been depending very heavily on Nicholas Nitch to fulfill that role, and he needs to have some back-up. For more details, please contact Mary Jane Schenck (813-837-9428 or mjschenck@ut.edu).
The patrons of Faith Café are also in need of pants, t-shirts, shorts, and casual running shoes. If you have new or gently used items to contribute, please bring them to the parish offices during the week or after services on Sunday.

Bring your study Bible, a covered dish, and an open heart and mind for fellowship and stimulating conversation. Contact Paul and Winkie Game at pgamefla@aol.com for more details.
