St. John's Christian Education Meeting
Leaders of St. John's Christian education ministries and groups, as well as any other interested parishioners, are invited to gather in Rudisill Parish Hall tomorrow, Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss how we might improve, strengthen, and grow Christian Education programs at St. John's. The group will explore what is working, what is not, how we might plan upcoming events, and how we might incorporate ideas and people yet to be included. "Baseball with the Bishop" is Back!
 The Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida presents "Baseball with the Bishop" Night with the Rays as they take on the Yankees, Friday, August 23. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m., doors open at 5:10 p.m. An Upper Reserved ticket is only $19 (a $22 value) and a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Episcopal Charities Fund.

Anger is the most dangerous of all emotions. It's like a boomerang-you throw it out at someone, and it comes right back at you. We always pay the price for our anger and can even burden our children with it because anger can be passed down generationally.
