Leaders of St. John's Christian education ministries and groups, as well as any other interested parishioners, are invited to gather in Rudisill Parish Hall tomorrow, Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss how we might improve, strengthen, and grow Christian Education programs at St. John's. The group will explore what is working, what is not, how we might plan upcoming events, and how we might incorporate ideas and people yet to be included. We want to help our education ministries and our parishioners thrive and grow. Join us! Click here for the proposed agenda for the evening.

Wednesday Nights at St. John's (Rudisill Parish Hall)
A new topic is being presented in a DVD featuring Charles Stanley: Victory Over Anger Anger is the most dangerous of all emotions. It's like a boomerang-you throw it out at someone, and it comes right back at you. We always pay the price for our anger and can even burden our children with it because anger can be passed down generationally. You cannot be angry toward others and have a right relationship with the Lord. If ignored, anger can cause: the destruction of relationships; a critical spirit; a lack of peace; isolation; frustration; feelings of emptiness; a lack of focus; procrastination; physical consequences. Dr. Charles F. Stanley is senior pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta, founder of In Touch Ministries, and a New York Times best-selling author. He demonstrates a keen awareness of people's needs and provides Christ-centered biblically based principles for everyday life.
Bring your study Bible, a covered dish, and an open heart and mind for fellowship and stimulating conversation. Contact Paul and Winkie Game at pgamefla@aol.com for more details.
