Music Schedule Change
Dear Friends of Music, We are writing to inform you of a change to the Music Series. Unfortunately, the performance by the St. John's Ensemble of the Faure Requiem, planned for Palm Sunday, March 24, has had to be postponed this year, for several reasons. The two primary reasons for this are that the choir has recently undergone a number of unforeseen changes in personnel, and this, combined with our Organist and Choirmaster's sabbatical leave, has led us to feel it would not be prudent to undertake this major work this year. We try always to attain the highest standards of performance, and do not wish to do anything that would compromise those standards. We apologize for any inconvenience, thank you for your understanding, and look forward to seeing you at many of our future events. With all good wishes, Simon Morley Kevin Page Organist and Choirmaster Assistant Organist

2013 Tampa Deanery Dominican Republic Project
The Tampa Deanery project for 2013 is to "close in" the second floor of the new Santa Cruz church in Santa Fe as part of a three year project, with the goal for 2014 being to finish both levels of Santa Cruz. Specifically the goal is to build the formwork, tie the reinforcing steel, and pour the roof of the second floor. With local workers and the Tampa Deanery mission teams who arrive in June, the DR Diocese will raise the second floor walls to roof level.
This year the Deanery plans to send four teams to do the work. The teams will stay at the Bishop Kellogg Center in San Pedro, taking breakfast and supper at the Center, with lunch provided to the jobsite. Team dates, leaders, and tasks are the following:
Team I June 8 - 15 Bill Kunkle Begin formwork
Team II June 15- 22 Bill Hardy Complete formwork, start rebar Team III June 22-29 Bob Stevens Finish rebar
Team IV July 6-13 Henry Woodroffe Work around community

Go Dark for Earth Hour
Your Diocesan Green Team would like to make you aware of the World Wildlife Federation's "Go Dark for Earth Hour" THIS coming Saturday - March 23rd.
It is hoped that people all around the globe will turn off their lights for one hour beginning at 8:30pm (their time) as a symbolic show of support for our planet.
We hope that you can get the word out to your fellow parishioners and friends. Let's have one hour of dark all over the Diocese of Southwest Florida and prove that in fact we DO care about "this fragile Earth, our island home."
