Hello there! And congratulations for making it through winter. I must say that the time is getting real close for me to buy my resort where the sun always shine, cause I am going to be a real grumpy grandma if I have to spend my old age facing JHB winters. Any suggestions which island you would like Scubaversity to be for future visits, oh yes and any investment offers will also be very much appreciated ;)
So although it has been winter, I can not say that I feel rested - which should be the case I thought when I signed up for this job... Living the "la vita" ( is that the right terminology) in summer and sleeping in during winter. Really looking forward to this
Red Sea trip in December so I can finally, eat, sleep, dive, drink, eat, sleep, dive and drink for 10 days! Still space... just saying...
Otherwise peeps it is
RAGGIE season - yes you know it the best time of the year to visit the shoal! Check out these dives from
Gary's facebook page just a week or two ago and it will convince you there is NO REASON why you cant slip away for a weekend to go tickle a sharkie!
Those okes who love getting their buts cramped on a bike ride to Durbs, we have launched
Ride & Dive - ie we take your scuba gear and you take a nice leisurely drive, with the wind in your hair and insects in your teeth - lol sorry, sorry know I am going to get flack for this - but yes it is only a Saturday and a Sunday so the best of both! What you say leather peeps?
Then we have the annual dive rally - we need your support as we have to go show the Durban people how it is done! Buy your tickets from us quick, quick - who would be keen if we organized a bus to take us?
Let me know so I can get an idea of numbers.
That's me for now, all you have to do now is take a leisurely scroll down the rest of the newsletter, read all of it (pretty please) and enjoy!
Remember the social the 6th of September, I am so excited I can sommer maar bloom like n lente bloeiseltjie :)See you soon
Mandy.
