Hello there all,
So sorry I have been neglecting all of you, my newsletter has lately been lacking a personal note, Joie de vivre "French phrase used to express a cheerful enjoyment of life; an exultation of spirit" - don't worry I also had to Google it.
The only reason I can think of is that I am slowly but surely handing over the newsletter reigns to Melani, thus no longer need to drink wine to finish - which in all honesty is the only way I can be interesting or don't care enough lol. Now I have to get to a point where I can trust Mel to write a personal note... baby steps, baby steps!
It is going well here at old SV, just spent the last 11 days at the Rand Show on my dainty little feet, trying to convince the world to start diving - while being sandblasted and sound blasted by the KZN stage, met some nice people so hopefully we are a bit closer to scuba'ing the world. While I was working my behind smaller, Colwin and about 50 other SV members managed to dive Aliwal plat - meaning very flat seas, 25 degree water blah de blah, blah.
Diving has been good on all the trips since the beginning of the year, in Moz the infamous Pinnacle dive delivered Hammerheads, Zambezi's, 25m viz and off course a penguin with a top hat singing "Start spreading the news" - Yip I said the same no video footage - no believing you horrible people and if Dereck from Malongane or Gary from Blue Ocean post one more freaking pretty sunrise, sunset photo I might just loose it and... don't know what... just had to say!
Our next trip is in May to Sodwana, just as winter gets its grip on us, we can escape for a little bit, otherwise the Sardine Run Campervan Trip is also just around the corner - promising to be a lot of fun - road tripping YEAH!!!!
Hope to see plenty of you at the social this weekend, a beer tent and live music - what more do you need I ask. We wanted to call it DSB day (Drink some Beer) instead of DSD day - get it?
Nice chatting although it was a bit one sided - smiley face icon goes here. Lots of bubble love Mandy
