What can I say other than awesome when describing the last few weeks that we have spent learning to dive.
I think that Roxanne and I were both nervous about trying out this new "lifestyle", but after meeting and chatting to Colwin, meeting yourself and then dealing with Annie in the beginning our minds were somewhat put at ease. We did not feel like 'outsiders' trying to enter your world, instead we were made to feel like you wanted us to be part of it. When we started the pool sessions the nerves returned, but, and I am sure that you hear this often, between Gary and Aletta, we once again felt like part of something that they too wanted us to experience.
Without Gary being our instructor and the patience and passion shown by him I am not sure that we would have carried on. Roxanne had a couple of panics about going into the water but these were dealt with in a professional yet human manner by Gary. Roxanne, and I, have built up a lot of trust in Gary and in turn with Scubaversity. I think that this shows the commitment of both yourself and Colwin to ensure that you only use the best people to train at your school.
Aletta too was a complete star her patience in the pool sessions and her passing on of knowledge was truly amazing and appreciated.
Then there is everyone else, wow, again not once have either of us felt that we are entering 'your' territory as you often do in other sports, we have felt so welcome and truly understand why you refer to yourselfs as a family!
Everything above is the reason that we would like to continue our training with yourself, we are both very interested in doing the advanced course.
Again, thank you for everything, it has been truly amazing! And we have been telling everyone that if they want to learn the only place to do it is at Scubaversity!
Kind regards
