It will be just like the theater, Scubaversity style! Soft seats,
pop-corn, chocolates, drinks and a braai. Come have a good laugh with some mates, in an inexpensive warm gathering.
Kiddies will have there own movies down stairs, just pack some blankets and pillows!

Scubaversitys first ever trip to Sodwana.

So my last newsletter had a slightly depressed tone to it... eish was not the case at all, was just being introspective, more the reason I need to drink wine while writing newsletters, guaranteed gibberish :) Sorry to those who got to stay in Jhb, but we had the most amazing trip to Mos last weekend, 28 degree, nice warm sea, good peeps and Colwin's new Vollie behaved itself very well and we were all impressed with its moves. These little trips to the coast during winter is all the pick me up you need.
If you are keen we are organising an impromptu trip to Durbs the 23rd to 25th of August, get a cheap flight and Bob's your Uncle!
Other than that things are picking up around the dive center and people are booking furiously for the 20 Year Birthday bash in September! Looking forward to see old and new club members on this trip - dont miss it!
There is also the Scuba Rally - an unique get-together to celebrate diving with everyone not just your own dive school!
We are exhibiting at the Kyalami Lifestyle show, the Dive Show and the Getaway show in August - come visit us maybe you pick up a bargain or two!
Missing you okes, cant wait for summer braais next to the pool again and chasing you okes home!

And so the Count down begins, 50 days before the biggest trip of the year! A special trip to celebrate 20 years of fun, good times, building friendships and awesome diving!  Winter's legs are getting long now, so if you need to go soak up a bit of sun to recharge the batteries, why not join us for this quick getaway to Durb's by the sea.
You can expect really awesome dives with a variety of wrecks as well the possibility to dive in the aquarium at Ushaka.
This is a perfect family trip as we are staying at the "Happy Hippo" which is walking distance from Ushaka Marine world and the beach.
Its going to be a nice getaway trip for cold Jozi, and we have some awesome specialties going to be trained, Enriched air, Wreck and Deep diving!

South Africa's First Ever Scuba Rally!
14 September - Miracle Waters |
 Scubaversity and various other PADI dive centres have gotten together to organise a dive rally for all qualified divers. It's like a Bike Rally but just divers, the aim is to grow the diving community and to get to know your fellow divers. We are going to meet at Miracle Waters, for a fun filled ... day of adventure, excitement and relaxation.
Celebrate the start of summer by joining together with this 1st of a kind event with fellow divers from across the country. You will be able to try out most of the major brands of equipment that you have been coveting.
The dive rally will give you the opportunity to dust off your dive gear and get back into the water and mingle with your peers to share a dive story or two.
Bookings will open in August through Scubaversity. |
