Hangar RFP available Sunday, May 22 and due Thursday, June 16
As mentioned in our April newsletter, in an effort to be as fair and transparent as possible, we're trying out a new process for box hangars that come available for lease. The first hangar to go through this Request for Proposals (RFP) process is located at 1815 Airport Drive and was previously occupied by Southwest Texas Aviation. The hangar must be used for commercial aviation purposes. The RFP document will be available for download on Sunday, May 22nd via the City's eProcurement website www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement.
The document will go into further detail regarding what information should be provided by the proposer. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Airport Management office on Tuesday, May 31 at 10:00am. Proposals will be due to the City by June 16 at 2:00pm. Anyone interested in the proposal must download the document directly from the City's website. This will ensure that you receive future addendum, meeting information, and answers to questions asked by other proposers.
