The Sustainability Consortium Summit

April 22-24, 2015 | Washington, DC

The Sustainability Consortium Summit marked Earth Week with a gathering of some 200 Members and experts from corporations, NGOs, academia and government to address product sustainability and new cross sector initiatives. TSC CEO Sheila Bonini challenged the attendees to drive transformational change, and keynote speaker Andrew Winston echoed this message. Panelists and working groups addressed topics as varied as On-Farm Metrics, Cold Water Wash, Animal Welfare in the Supply Chain, Chemicals of Concern, Recycled Plastics and much more. China Forum

Columbia Global Centers/East Asia and Columbia University's Earth Institute, in partnership with The Sustainability Consortium, are hosting a high-level forum on "Sustainability Policy and Practice - Promoting a Sustainable Supply Chain" in Beijing. The May 8 forum will discuss Chinese enterprises' experiences and strategies in sustainable development, focusing on the supply chain, in a unique opportunity to create a positive and lasting impact on sustainability in China. Findings will be presented from the TSC project in China working to improve systems and tools for assessing product sustainability. Learn More

International Society of Sustainability Professionals

TSC joined with CRG Sustainable Solutions (CRGss) and the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) to jointly present the first annual Earth Month Business Conference and to launch the Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee chapter of ISSP. The April 7 event in Memphis, TN was supported by corporate title sponsor FedEx.
