We hope you are planning to compete in the upcoming Bay Area Senior Games, April 10 - 14. There is still room in all 14 sports for more competitors - so please help us spread the word.

In response to the tennis community, we've added tennis. 

We also will host a FREE community Walk at 8:30 am on Sunday.

23andMe will offer a Personal Genome Kit (at no cost) to all competitors.

A RARE CHANCE TO GOLF AT STANFORD!
Stanford University will make their acclaimed Golf Course available to us for a special Bay Area Senior Games Tournament on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. The field is limited to 100 players. Medals awarded by age groups, 18 holes, shotgun start at 1:00pm, cart included. So make your reservation now! Sports Photography Workshop added to 2010 Bay Area Senior Games
April 10 & 11 - Two full days of shooting with access to the field of play. Limited to 25 participants, the workshop will be taught by nationally recognized sports photographer, John Todd, wireservice photographer Don Feria and Nhat Meyer, San Jose Mercury News photographer. After shooting, the class will produce an on-line portfolio as a final project and images may be used in future Bay Area and California Senior Games publications and web sites.  For more information and to register, go to www.pavainstitute.com.
Dear Senior Athlete - The Games are coming right up and we are all getting excited. Looks like Spring is here and the venues are looking super.  We ordered the tee shirts, the athlete bags and the medals.We will be sending another communication to all registered athletes after entries close the week of April 1, with last minute information about schedules, volunteering, parking and food service. 

Looking forward to seeing you all in April.  And please tell your friends as well and bring your families to cheer you on.
