"MAAK A JOL"
LETS ALSO CELEBRATE LEVI'S 21st
SATURDAY 1 JUNE - 7PM
Setting up the vibe will be Derek Sasson playing all the favourite sing-a-long songs.
Russian Rolls and Chips will line the stomachs!
All we need is you and it is guaranteed good party!

Not that we need a reason to for a social, but we reckoned it is Levi's 21st Bday on Sunday an we are also going to Sodwana this month so a Pre-JOL similar to the ones that always happens at "Jan" - Maak a jol seemed like a fun idea! Derek Sasson will be tokkling the guitar for us, there will be some greasy food to line the tummy and as usual enough drink to keep the party going, bring a tent if you dont have a designated driver.

SODWANA 14-17 JUNE

3 NIGHT / 3 DIVE

R740!

Hello there  ,

Hope you  are all keeping well and warm, although I have to say that this has been a particlularly mild start to winter, and if we can expect more of these beautifull sunny days I will be a pretty happy chicken (not sure why a chicken - jsut sounded right in my mind...o:) Hope I have not jinxed the new open water group starting this Saturday.

As for the rest of you fair weather divers, who refuse to dive when it is cold all I can say is to just get dressed! Most of you have seen how I prep for a cold dive first it is my Scubapro 0.5mm suit, then a chicken vest, then my 5mm, dont forget the gloves and then my dry-suit! See easy and then make sure you have another dry set for the next dive :)))))

Okay I know, one step at a time... but really you have to join us on one of the inland winter trips it is actually super awesome, promise, promise!

Those who still are not convinced.... Sodwana Baby! This trip is always a success because we are all pretty fed-up with work (it has been 6 months already since Dec) the weather is slightly depressing, so what better is there than a trip to the sea to sort out your mood....! And the prices are so stupid that it does not make sense not to go!

Thanks to all of you who supported us at the Mayhem show, hope you got yourself some awesome deals and those who could not make it there is always next year!

Cheers

Mandy

Scubaversity's First Ever!
Transkei Sardine Run 28 June - 1 July
Transkei Trip
Every year around June and July billions of Sardine "run" or migrate up the East Coast of Africa between Port Elizabeth and Durban. What makes it a true marvel however is not simply the multitude of silvery fish but the host of predators that congregate in mass for a feast.
The action is amazing and you are often surrounded by hundreds of dolphin, sharks, diving birds, whales, game fish, seals and of course millions of sardines that make this one of nature's most awesome events.
The waters off the breathtaking Wild Coast literally boil as Dolphins, Sharks, Whales, Seals, Penguins, Cape Gannets and even Orca's (Killer Whales) gorge themselves on the seemingly endless shoals of sardines.

"Having completed my open water scuba course a number of years ago, and then my advanced late last year, I made the decision to further my diving career by moving onto Master scuba diver. Now in order to do this, one has to first complete the Rescue diver course, and part of that step is to complete EFR (emergency first response)

This is an attempt to highlight to you, how this has not only changed my diving but by life in general..."  Read More by Ceri James
