Scubaversity News

July/Aug 2011

Hey there guys and gals, Yes I know we all are getting pretty g...tvol of winter and counting down the days for summer to start, but hou vas maatjies we are almost there, you should be able to feel the smell of Spring at the tip of your tongue. So after a pretty wet weekend in Mos, we are heading of to our next trip Cape Town, and to give you an idea of the excitement almost every single associate is going... we have been hearing about diving with Seals, Great Whites, Seven gill cow sharkes (whatshemecallits) and sea horses so this is it Cape Town better not dissappoint! Thereafter the Red Sea trip is next on the charts and once again a newbie for us, trying a safari to Brothers Islands  have been doing a lot of research and it seems to be the best diving out. Otherwise starting a new Master Scuba Diver recognitions program, have a look at the Scubaversity Elite!

Please join our facebook group http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/scubaversity we are uploading all the photo's on it and have been posting all events on it as well! Or twitter for updates http://twitter.com/#!/Scubaversity

We are planning a chamber dive for next week, space is limited so if anyone is keen please send me a mail @ mandy@scubaversity.co.za to make a provisional booking. Sonia is also planning a drag racing day at Tarlton in August and will send out more details regarding that soon.

If anyone is looking for accommodation we have two of our intern huts available contact colwin@scubaversity.co.za for more information.

Last but not least we are very sad to announce that an end of a era has arrived and our wild child Branden will be leaving us to make his own little nest with Reidunn and baby Tide. We wish him and Reidunn a joyous time with the new bundle and a successful future. Next week Thursday will be his last day & certification evening, so if you are free join us from about 7pm - bring some diapers and baby food if you can ;) for an impromptu farewell.

Otherwise hang in there, water is almost warm again. Hope to see you all soon!

Mandy

Diving will be a treat Scubaversity Style. We'll get into our wetsuits in the comfort of our rooms. Our dive boats will pick us up directly from the hotel pier with all gear already kitted on board, and after the dive return us back to the hotel pier for a hot shower and breakfast, while our Hard Gear is cleaned and re-kitted, ready to pick us up again for the next dive!

Leisure time has all the attractions the Cape has to offer, the plan is to keep it spontaneous andgowherethewindblows, ifyougetthedrift.
