Greetings!
 As mentioned in the last newsletter, I'm just completing a very busy five weeks of ministry in the US and Israel and have had some amazing opportunities to influence people to experience and use banners.
After prompting you to be ready and to take opportunities within your sphere of influence, I have an amazing story to share.
Walking down to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem I met Robert Stearns of Eagles Wings Ministries and he invited me to come to the Day of Prayer for Jerusalem, which God TV was broadcasting to 200 nations. This had not been on my agenda. I felt the Lord confirm that I should go, and so with a handful of friends I turned up with 60 banners. Out of the blue the banners became a major feature of the evening and there was a front page photo of them on the Jerusalem Post on the next day. Be encouraged - you can have an impact. Just be ready and look for opportunities.
As I am writing this to you I am preparing to take 60 intercessors with banners right into the heart of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth. We don't know what security will allow us to do but we are focused on lifting up the names of God amidst this crucial leadership meeting.
I believe banners are gaining in importance and urge you to identify your role in encouraging people to use them effectively.
I hope you enjoy our story from Mexico in this edition, which outlines how a team of intercessors in Guadalajara have used banners as a key component in spiritual warfare to change the atmosphere and in the cleansing of their town. We also have a story about people from a Healing Room in California who have used banners to set the tone for their outreach.

2011 YEAR OF PRAYER FOR OUR NATION, MEXICO

Our country is experiencing one of the most violent, dangerous and difficult times in our history. Drug trafficking has taken our country; it is a power that has fueled the spirit of fear, insecurity, violence, division among families, abduction, crime, murder, drugs, alcohol, homosexuality and idolatry.
As the Church of Christ, we have taken our position, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms and demons who want to destroy our beloved Mexico.
Our pastor received from God a strategy of spiritual warfare with clear objectives against all the evil that has been raised in Guadalajara, which is the second largest city in Mexico. It has 6 million inhabitants and apart from the aforementioned problems is now also filled with casinos, thereby increasing the sins of theft, avarice, greed and envy.
 We love Guadalajara, where we were born and grew up, where God put us with a purpose. Our church, Nueva Alianza, is an intercessory and warrior church. Our pastor has spoken to us since the end of 2010 about the strategy that the Lord had given her.
In Mexico we have the custom that when there is a holiday that falls during the week, it is held on Monday to be able to have a long weekend, better known as a "bridge."
The strategy that God gave to the pastor was to consecrate the four "bridges" of 2011 and instead of going on holiday vacation and resting on those 3 days, that we stay in Guadalajara and have a special time of prayer, worship and intercession. Other churches have joined this project which took the name of "Operation Invasion of GUADALAJARA" and we are invading the city with praise, worship, intercession and spiritual warfare.
We have done three intercessions already and have only one bridge left to cover on November 19, 20 and 21.
 The seven pastors involved in the "Operation Invasion of Guadalajara," along with their churches, come to ours and we have a special time of praise and worship, which has brought the unity among them. In addition to praying together, we are given instructions to go to certain places to pray and bless, to anoint with oil, water, wine and salt, to raise flags, to bury the word of God, to walk around different places, establishing the Kingdom of God.
We have gone to the high places, hills, cliffs and the gates that surround our city, forests and water places such as dams, streams, rivers and government offices. We have surrounded the city by car and our pastor flew the police helicopter praying over the city, anointing with oil and water the city from the heavens. We went to parks, gardens, shopping centers, crossings of streets, stadiums, Catholic churches, casinos, motels and cemeteries, with a specific strategy and small groups interceding.
 We take warfare flags, drums, shofars and tambourines as spiritual weapons that God has given us against the enemy.
We have raised the name of Jesus over the city and we have seen a change that even the media can not explain; they are saying that it seems like Guadalajara is housed in a "bubble", because despite what is happening across the country, here it has stopped the bloody events, murder, crime and drug trafficking! No one can explain how...but we know that it is the answer to prayer. It is the coverage of Jesus over Guadalajara and the angels surrounding and taking care of the city.
We are preparing for the next day of "Operation Invasion of Guadalajara." We are ready to go, to pray and intercede for our city, waving flags, playing drums, shofars, tambourines and treading the Earth we are conquering for Christ.

Banners at Healing Rooms prayer tents

On Saturday, September 17, 2011, our Healing Rooms of Lake County, California, was invited to set up a Prayer Tent to pray for those desiring prayer for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. The event was in conjunction with a Jake Hamilton concert at the Yogi Bear, Jelly Stone RV Park on Cobb Mtn. CA, sponsored by several of our Lake County church fellowships.
As in the past, we enhanced the appearance of our set up with a number of Out of our Minds Banners including "Freedom," "Restoration," "The Lion of Judah Roaring," and another one with the Lion of Judah roaring. You will also notice, if you look closely enough, that we had the "Star of David" displayed as well.
This is not the first time that we have adorned our prayer tents with OOMB banners, just the most recent. When the breeze catches them and they fully unfurl, they offer a wonderfully colorful, eye catching display of praise and honor to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
