Taking the shofar to the streets

My mother in-law, Mrs. Alice Williams, had a stroke in December of 2009. The doctor said she only had a week to two months to live, if that long. She also had dementia and Alzheimer's. She stayed in the hospital for a few weeks and then was taken to a rehab center where the doctor again said she would live for a very short time. After much prayer and confession of God's word for healing, we left it in God's hands.
A short time later I received a shofar as a gift along with an instructional CD. I also sought instruction from a Rabbi from a
Jewish Congregation in Orange, Connecticut.
A few weeks later my wife and our daughter made plans to go see my mother in-law. Mrs. Williams had been moved to another nursing home for long term care and her condition had gotten to where Hospice was called in.
I felt the Holy Spirit directed me to blow the shofar in her house and go to the long term care center and walk the grounds and just blow and release the presence of God in and around that place.
As of October 6, 2010 Mrs. Williams is now feeding herself, she is talking and her memory has greatly improved. The signs of the stroke are fading away; she can now recognize her family and friends.
We were told Sunday that the family can begin to bring her home on weekend visits once a month so we drive from Connecticut to Winchester Va. where I blow the shofar and minister to her and others who will accept it.
I now go to the worst parts of my city and blow my shofar at Common Council Chambers.
Recently I felt a deep calling to go to Washington, D.C. and to take my shofar with me, At the time I had no way of getting to Washington and nowhere to stay after I got there. But I know that when God gives you a vision He also provides the
provision to perform the details of the vision.
A very dear friend of mine asked if I would accompany her son, who was born with a disability, to Washington for seven days with all expenses paid - room, meals, and travel. While there I would assist him for four hours per day and the rest of the time
I would be free to do whatever I wanted to do.(Father knows best :).
The Holy Spirit directed me to which park to go to and the time of day but I had no idea of what the response of the people would be. As I sounded the shofar people would stop in their tracks and just look and listen. Some asked what it was and said that after they heard it they felt like the very air was clearer. Some said that a peacefulness came and rested over the place.
I was directed to repent for the dark history that has covered our nation's Capital since its founding and to repent for the sins that were committed in the name of God. I blew the shofar around Washington near the White House, the Senate and Congress, pleading for forgiveness and for mercy to prevail. I was asking for divine protection over our president and his family.
Timothy, a homeless man I met in one the parks, began to speak about the shofar and what it meant to him. He said it sounded like God was speaking to him and that he felt it throughout his entire being. I asked if he wanted to give his life to Christ and he said yes and he did. If nothing but for that one soul, heaven rejoiced.
