NEW BANNER!Faith This colourful silk banner signifies the faith of a believer.
Beautifully painted, it depicts a hand reaching from the lower
right-hand corner up to grab hold of our "The Promises" banner.
The
seven-coloured rainbow of "The Promises" banner reflects a full
spectrum of colours and reminds us of many God's promises to His
people. Faith allows us to grab hold of these promises and see them
come to fruition in our own lives.
Use this banner to declare your faith in every situation, whether
for your health, family or finances. As you wave it, recall the
promises your God has made to you. Remember faith is "being sure of
what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1).

From David's Desk...
Dear Worshiping Warrior,
Things are beginning to change. I have just returned from a three-week visit to the US where I had the opportunity to meet old friends and new banner wielders.
I was able to meet with part of the core leadership team of a new thing that God is doing, which we are calling the Worldwide Banner Matrix. We will give you more information on this new development next month. All I can say right now is, I do not believe that banner worship will ever be the same again. God is up to something with banners.
Andy Au, Joe Brown, Julia Payan. Nikki Phillips, Franca Fauntleroy, Joanne Meeks, Betty Kiser, David Stanfield and Charlotte Leonard. | I also participated in the Banner Leaders Summit where nine leaders form four nations spent two and a half precious days together. Words cannot describe the impact this had on me personally and on each of the participants who came. We had wonderful times of fellowship, laughter and tears which you can read more about below.
Also in this newsletter you can see what a courageous group of South Africans are doing as part of a project called "The Ultimate Goal" to reach out to their nation and to the 37 nations that are visiting South Africa as part of the World Cup.
The photo story below shows activities with banners that they have done in the lead up to the World Cup. As you read this article, please pray for this group of banner wavers as they minister at big events throughout the month of June.
We also have a link to inspire you to take your movement to the streets - public worship in a public place in Budapest, Hungary. Take up the challenge and plan something in your community, taking your banners to the streets!
God is on the move. May His breath reach you in your situation right now. David S

Leaders Summit Report
Dallas, Texas, USA May 2010
Summit
attendees: Andy Au (UK), Joe Brown (USA), Franca Fauntleroy (USA),
Betty Kiser (USA), Charlotte Leonard (USA), Joanne Meeks (USA), Julia
Payan (France), Nikki Phillips (USA) and David Stanfield (Australia).
The
second Banner Leaders Summit took place in May 2010 in Dallas, Texas
in the USA. This three-day summit was targeted to serve the Americas and
was a very rich and successful summit. It was again wonderful to meet
and share with colleagues who are passionate about banners.
Each
of us shared our journey with banners and gave an introduction to our
ministry. We each received prayer, prophecy and encouragement from
the other attendees.
Andy Au ministers with a large banner. | We
had wonderful times of worship, warfare and intercession. On several
occasions, as we worshiped together, the Spirit led us into a
sequence of prophetic movements as He called into being a new order
in the realm of banners, flags, staffs, ribbons and billows. It felt
like an intense time of plowing, sowing, calling and strengthening
those around the world who are anointed for this ministry. We had a
collective sense of a shift and that explosive growth would happen
worldwide in the use of banners in worship, warfare and ministry.
We
had a great time, laughed a lot and at mealtimes we enjoyed
discussing design and crafting of banners, ministry contacts, music
choices and many other topics that we were all hungry to share.
The
core leadership team had met for two and a half days before the
summit and were able to share the latest developments. This included
that we have decided to call ourselves the "Worldwide Banner
Matrix." The concept of a matrix captures the essence of providing
a framework for connection and growth rather than an organization
that is an end in itself.
The restaurant manager, Rachel, poses with the group after showing us how to use poi. (Franca Fauntleroy photo)
 | One
of the unexpected highlights of the summit was the interest that the
hotel staff took in what we did.
On numerous occasions they peeked through the doors and Rachel, a restaurant manager, even brought
some poi (glow sticks on shoestrings) in and showed us how she used
them. She also tried using several of the banners and ribbons with
us. It was a great example of how attractive free worship is to those
outside the church.
We
have come away with a clearer and expanded understanding of the need
and potential of the Worldwide Banner Matrix.
Each
of us has gone home stretched but affirmed in our unique calling and
gifting, and 100% of us were encouraged!!!
We
are committed to go and do things differently so that we are
personally better equipped and have stronger connections with others
in order to more purposefully facilitate a shift where we live and
around the world.

Christians in South Africa prepare to minister at the World Cup
by Liesl Townsend
In the lead up to the World Cup, currently in full swing in South Africa, a bunch of creative Christians are taking the opportunity to go out and touch their nation in towns and villages.
How to pray. | They took national flags and worship banners and interacted with locals and children, teaching them to pray for themselves, for their friends and for the nations that were coming to South Africa this month.
Lotusville march - We are the World Cup! | They prayer-walked rural towns and brought the excitement of the soccer stadiums out to where the people lived.
They taught them to bless and pray and then led them out into the streets of their own home town.
Learning the diski dance. | They also taught them how to do the World Cup diski dance, an imaginary
soccer dance with the 5 basic soccer steps. If you want to see them in action, click here.
Prayer walk and blessing. | During the prayer walks the children erupted and never stopped shouting "Jesus bless you!" in every street, stretching out their hands as a prophetic blessing.
Only God knows what took place in the heavenly realms as hundreds of precious children carried national flags and declared a blessing as they walked.
Praying for our nation. | A global day of prayer was held in Port Elizabeth, praying for the government, for rain, for the church, for crime and emergency services.
They then prayed for the World Cup and each nation that was coming to the Cup.

A fabulous video of 1300 people worshiping in a public square on Resurrection Day in Budapest, Hungary is making the rounds on the Internet. It will make you want to get out of the church and into the streets. At the bottom of the video page there are links to more information on how they pulled it off. |
