From David's Desk...
Dear Worshipping Warrior,
I received a note slipped to me by my seven-year-old daughter Elizabeth earlier in the week. To Dad from EJ I am very, very, very sorry that I could have lost your/my venieshian glass earrings. I don't know what to do. Can you please help me know what to do. Please reply:
And then she drew some lines for my reply. It melted my heart. It was so simple and heartfelt. I wasn't particularly upset that one of the earrings had disappeared in the car, but even if I had been this would have washed it all away. Dear Father: I am very, very, very sorry that things are not turning out the way I thought they would. I don't know what to do. Can you please help me to know what to do. Please reply. (and then give him some space to reply!) It is powerful in it's simplicity. God, I've done the best I can and I now have no clue what to do next! Would you please help me?
And you know what... His heart melts too.
I have used that prayer several times myself over the last few weeks. There is so much happening that has never happened before.
There is a shift on around the world. Many things are shifting. For those of us who already move in worship, warfare and ministry our time has come.
We need to be ready because this is our "in season" season.
There are thousands of people in your nation holdng their breaths, waiting, seeking, ready to release the worship, warfare and ministry that has been trapped inside them for years. Thousands inside the Church. Thousands outside the Church.
Ready. Waiting. Seeking. We cannot know what to do - because this season, this shift has never been seen before. NOW. Get ready. Get cleaned up and healed, strap on your running shoes, gird up your loins and be ready. There will be a breathtaking advance the likes of which we have not only never seen, but have not even been able to imagine. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." - Jesus (in John 14 NIV) David S |
