 Dear Worshipping Warriors,
I really want to encourage you to continue to stand and move forward with the Ministry of Banners that the Lord has given you. Even if things seem slow and dry at times - persevere.
Ask the Lord to show you little things, simple things, that you can do in your home, your congregation, and in your town or city where your obedience and worship can change the atmosphere. Even a slight shift may be enough to tip the scales.
Ask the Lord for strategy and pull out your banners and follow His lead. Raise the standard and declare whatever the Spirit is saying to declare.
Is there another banner waver you know of that you can encourage? Can you combine with others in worship and obedience to stand together? Are you ready for the doors to open? Be ready to flow in where an opportunity presents itself.
Don't be discouraged - the Lord had a plan and He will reveal to you the part that you can play.
In this edition of Raising the Standard we have a powerful story about how banners played a pivotal role in a worship conference in Bangalore, India. Cindy and Joseph were ready and waiting for a door to open and when it did they were able to step in and see some dramatic results in the lives of many people, not only from India, but several other nations as well.
Cindy and Joseph Mathew are two of our endorsed banner coaches and we want to introduce them to you in this edition.
We would appreciate you praying for us as we extend the network of banner trainers around the world. Our aim is to change the atmosphere over nations one person at a time.

Banners prove powerful in Bangalore, India

My husband Joseph and I arrived in India the first week of
January with our SHOFAR team, ready to worship with our fellow Indian brothers
and sisters who had gathered from 7 nations (India, UK, Doha, UAE, Zimbabwe,
Kuwait, and USA) around the globe with one purpose in mind - to WORSHIP
JESUS!
We started the conference (led by
Ray and Benzy William, founders of Face2Face Ministries and leaders of SOW)
with 24 hours of continuous worship.
This was a first for many of the 125 who came.
 One the first day of the conference, I (Cindy) taught on the
Biblical foundations of banners and a basic overview of their significance,
uses, etc., and then we ministered for 2 hours with the banners. Over 100 lay down on the floor and Holy
Spirit took over! It was amazing. Weeping, deliverance, joy, and brokenness
broke out simultaneously around the room.
People began to get off of the floor and pick up a banner
and began ministering with them too. It
was incredible to see because most had never even seen a banner before. The session ended with a fire tunnel of
banners and then we released them to take them outside to the conference
grounds. They picked them up and started
running proclaiming those attributes of God represented with each banner. It was a powerful moment. Freedom was evident! Praise God!
Many came up to me afterwards testifying of what God did in
them with the banners. One specifically
said, "You know Cindy, I thought, ok banners, whatever, and even as you taught I
was thinking inside 'show me.' Then as I
lay on the floor, God came in and ministered to me so deeply, I am now going to
go back and start a banner ministry in my church." Hallelujah!
Another testimony was from Adil in Kuwait, "I really didn't
think banners would impact my life in such a way...whoa! So AMAZING!!
Such a blessing! Truly blessed by
them, thank you guys. The banners that
touched me the most were: Anointing Oil, Love Banner, Lion of Judah Roaring,
and Holy Fire! Phew. Amazing."
The last night of the conference we had all of the banners
displayed on one wall and encouraged anyone to use them throughout the
night. Another breakout occurred and
many more were deeply moved. Several
used them prophetically. We know two
things as a result of bringing the banners to India. 1) God is at work powerfully through them 2)
Many are now inspired to use them in their own ministries
We have been asked to teach again at another SOW conference
at the end of April in Delhi. Many more
will be coming from all over north India and the Middle East. Please be in prayer for us as we share this
mighty ministry.

Introducing Banner CoachesCindy and Joseph Mathew We are motivated to
train and equip others because we have seen and we have personally experienced
the POWER behind these mighty weapons of God. The body of Christ needs these
weapons in their arsenal to do battle. We have seen people delivered and want
to encourage others to walk in this anointing. The place of banners
today is so multi-faceted. They first and foremost need to be used in personal
worship in our homes, then we need to take them out to the streets and do
warfare in our cities. They need taken to nursing homes and hospitals as
weapons of healing and deliverance, and finally they are to bring honor to our
King Jesus in our corporate worship settings. Banners used in the hands of the
redeemed equals freedom, deliverance, God's manifest presence, glory, and God's
kingdom in heaven brought to earth!
