An Invitation from Christ Church, Elizabethtown
Members of Christ Episcopal Church, Elizabethtown, and their rector, the Rev. Alice Nichols, invite the people of the Diocese of Kentucky to a special service Tuesday, Jan. 25, celebrating the creation of their new, joint worshiping community with members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in Elizabethtown.
The Rev. Dr. William O. Gafkjen, bishop of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod of the ELCA, and the Rt. Rev. Terry Allen White, bishop of the Diocese of Kentucky, will participate in the service, which begins at 6 p.m. at Christ Church at 206 W.
