Yesterday, Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Keith Stokes, and State Representatives Donna Walsh and Larry Valencia visited Oyster Works where they were welcomed by Andrew Baer and Damara Ortolani Sisti (Megan Moynihan was out of town).

Andrew discussed Oyster Works' Sensibly Greenapproach to architectural design and presented three current projects:
* Winter Dining Hall and Bunkrooms at Camp Yawgoog
A project of the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America.
* Affordable Housing and Emergency Shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence.
A project of Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County.
* ChurchWoods Affordable Housing for low-income seniors.
In pre-development, Churchwoods, is a project of Washington County CDC with support from the Episcopal Diocese of RI and the Town of Charlestown.
Governor Chafee and Executive Director Stokes visited Oyster Works' office as part of a tour of Charlestown arranged by our State Representative Donna Walsh.
