Mission Possible Raises More Than $2,000 for SJE Mission Work!
More than 40 performances by over 100 children from St. John's Church and School wowed the audience at the 2012 Mission Possible Talent Show, held Sunday, March 11, at the school's Middle Division Gym. Our talented children played instruments like piano, violin and guitar, sang songs, did tumbling and dance demonstrations and even created skits and stand-up comedy routines to help raise money for our friends in Uganda and the Dominican Republic. Thanks to Leland Baldwin for organizing and introducing the acts, as well as to Debra Schrils for being Leland's co-emcee, and to Rick and Maggie McClintock for their directorial and stage management assistance.

Above you can see the Reverend Benjamin Bwambale, Kamaiba Head Teacher, flipping the switch to turn on the lights. Also above is a photo of one of the panels that sit atop the library building. Our ministry makes a real difference in the lives of the students and you will hear more about it in the months to come, Past and present Kamaiba sponsors are invited to join us for a celebratory dinner on Sunday, March 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Rudisill Parish Hall.
