Contemporary Women's Bible Study
CWBS meets in the Peterson Room at the Plant Avenue Campus (St. John's Middle School).
The fall session of the Contemporary Women's Bible Study (CWBS) begins on Tuesday, September 27th with the Gospel of John. After the first of the year, we will be studying the book of Isaiah. Although we will be using the Interpretation Bible Studies series, we will be reading all of the chapters, not just those covered in the study guides.
All women of St. John's (and their friends) are invited to join this dynamic group for prayer, lively discussion, faith and fellowship. After a light breakfast, scripture and selected topics of interest are explored in new and creative ways, led by rotating facilitators. Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, appreciate the big picture or delight in detail, this fresh approach to Bible study offers interesting and inspiring insights for everyone as we ponder its meaning for our lives.
If you are new to CWBS and do not have an entry code for the Middle School, contact Kathleen Moore at 813-221-6253 or kathleenmarymoore@gmail.com. We will need to make arrangements for someone to meet you and show you how to get into the building.

The Orleanians
Next event - October 9 at 4 p.m. at Jackson's Bistro on Harbour Island
Come watch the Bucs vs. the 49'ers at Jackson's Bistro as we grow our new group, the Orleanians! The St. John's nursery will be open for childcare during this event.
The Orleanians, St. John's newest group, seeks to build upon our community aspect of St. John's for the youngish generation in their twenties and thirties. Providing an avenue for parishioners to get to know each other better, The Orleanians will grow into a network of friends to compliment the overall long-term experience at St. John's. Low-key get-togethers, with a mix of adult events and kid friendly events, are held every other month.
Contacts are Dax Nelson at 494.0125 or dnelson@daxnelsonlaw.com and Mother Stefanie Taylor at staylor@stjohnstampa.org or 917-921-6434.
