Meet John Rummel, Vice President at Citicorp | John Rummel came to Jobs For Youth in late 2009 with buckets of enthusiasm, intent on helping clients improve their Resume Writing and Mock Interview abilities. Little did we know that John would soon use the mock experience as a primer for the "real deal". Since he began his relationship with the organization, John has hired two JFY graduates to be a part of Citibank's National Check Operations where he is Vice President. He also has interviewed a dozen others and plans to hire more yet this month! A night job as data entry clerk or envelope preparation clerk can prove ideal for JFY graduates who are intent on continuing their education during the day. New Citibank employees include Preston Wood and Precious Motley, two graduates of JFY's Professional Branding Clinic, where John's wife, Sue, teaches Advanced Resume Writing. It is a family affair at JFY, and one that is benefitting JFY in ways we never imagined! If your organization has entry-level jobs available, and you think exceptional JFY graduates might fit into your team, please reach out.It is our ultimate goal and we need your help. Thank you, John! |
