Dear Log Rolling Friends and Family,
School is out and SUMMER IS HERE! Hopefully by now everybody has had the chance to do a bit of outdoor rolling. If you are lucky enough, by now you may even have the permanent seaweed and lake water smell in all of your clothing... Summer 2010 is filled with lumberjack events; practically every weekend! As a competitor I very much look forward to the travel and competition, but most of all, I look forward to seeing all of my log rolling friends once again. My lumberjack "family" has been with me for as long as I can remember, and now, I don't enjoy anything more than seeing new log rolling friendships blossoming. Sure the competition is fun, but I think most of us can agree the greatest memories are the crazy things we do before and after the competitions and who we spend that time with. Here is to a summer full of fantastic competition and wonderful friends.
Sincerely, Shana Martin USLRA President Your 2010 USLRA Board |
