An Evening with the Bishop

  Bishop Michael Burk

Dear Partners in Ministry,

I invite you to join me for an evening of conversation and fellowship.

These evenings are precious opportunities for enhancing the mission we share. In addition to sharing my thoughts and hopes for ministry, I look forward to listening to your own stories of life and ministry together in Christ. Tending to the challenges we face and the joys we experience lies at the heart of what it means to be the people of God together.

2013 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Kathryn M. Lohre, ELCA Director of Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a longstanding expression of the ecumenical movement- a worldwide movement among Christians to heal divisions within the Church.  Each year from January 18-25, Christians are encouraged to pray together as a sign of the unity that is already theirs in Christ.  Below are links to resources as well as materials to order for use during the week of prayer in your worship community.
