EPIC (Educational Partnerships in Covenant) is a matching grant program that began in 1983 as a cooperative venture between Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregations in Iowa and their colleges: Grand View, Luther, and Wartburg. ELCA colleges and universities exist in mission to prepare young people for life lived faithfully in service to God and the world. EPIC is a means of encouraging congregations to financially support their students who attend one of the three Iowa colleges.

EWALU Welcomes Clark Baldwin as Executive Director and
Bids Farewell to Dale Goodwin on September 1st
Clark Baldwin has accepted a call to serve as Executive Director of EWALU Bible Camp and Re-treat Center, Strawberry Point, Iowa. He will begin work September 17, 2012, following the retirement of Dale Goodman on August 31. Goodman has been Director since 1997. EWALU is happy to welcome Clark Baldwin as the new Executive Director! Come meet Clark and bid a fond farewell to Dale during alumni weekend on September 1.
