2012 Synod Assembly Registration Now Open
The 2012 Southeastern Iowa Synod Assembly will be held at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL from June 1-2, 2012. The Assembly opens at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 1, 2012 and is scheduled to close at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 2. To register and read more click here.

Informational Meeting for the Vision Trip to Tanzania

You are invited to a Vision Trip set for June 8-20, 2012. The purpose of the trip is to deepen our relationship with the Pare Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. An Information Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 25 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Southeastern Iowa Synod Center for Ministry. All are welcome! ELCA World Hunger to Speak at Lutheran Day on the Hill
Jake Byers, LSI Manager of Advancement Marketing and Advocacy
ELCA World Hunger representative, Mikka McCracken, will be on hand at Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) Lutheran Day on the Hill in Des Moines to share the World Hunger ministry. World Hunger's participation in this day of advocacy is essential to giving voice in response to hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world.

Have You Registered for CTIM?
Registration is open for CTIM with the registration deadline of February 28 fast approaching. This year CTIM welcomes The Rev. Dr. Scott K. Beebe as the keynote speaker. Dr. Beebe is co-director for the Luther Academy of the Rockies and pastor of Mt. of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in the Vail Valley of Colorado. At CTIM, attend workshops on subjects such as sharing God's work in your life, creative arts ministry, responding to hunger, and much more. A new workshop, "Sabbaticals and Wellness", has just been added.
