National Adoption Month   
Lutheran Services in Iowa   


November is National Adoption Month, and Iowa KidsNet and its partner agencies, including Lutheran Services in Iowa, are excited about raising awareness for Iowa's waiting children and celebrating Iowa's adoptive families. 

According to the Iowa Department of Human Services, as of June 2011, there were approximately 570 children legally available for adoption from foster care, meaning parental rights had been terminated.
